That is the title of this thread. We get the whole bob cam deal, thats why I bought a proven off the shelf cam for my engine. We really don't care who's left nut is bigger. I am curently (as well as probably some other people) shopping for heads at the moment. So i look the threads like " AFR 325 flow sheets.... anyone ever flow these heads?" for information. Do you guys have to trash every thread that could be the least bit informative on motors? Can you guys discuss motors without it becoming some kind of sword fight worthy of gay porn coverage? I get jokes, I get fun, its winter, I get the occasional snowball fight, but to turn every phucking thread into some kind of homoerotic mud wrestling match is getting a bit phucking old. And yes, I am an angry old white guy that voted for Trump And i gotta say every thread full force has turns into a chit show. Guys cant even give constructive criticism, or i would of did it this way, or maybe you do it that way, with out him getting totally bent out of shape and having a meltdown. EVERY THREAD ! He only listens to one guy on here, and everyone else is just idiots. "Proofs in the puddin" Again just an observation in a public forum. Just an observation! But the good tech is awesome.... |
Well in the beginning I listened to bob m and sold me parts, not joe... all joe did was being things to attention and like he stated so far it all has been seen as true. That being said I do not dismiss others and also do not always agree, my threads may be a train wreck to you and others, but what have we learned?? If I didn't post and expose bob m, and the issues associated with his spec... more Guys would have issues...
Bobs afr out of box heads=tight guides (.001) and "hotrod" springs (but sold as custom marine specs for him only) Cams= questionable markings, and bad performance Roll master timing chains= Torrington bearing bottoms out on cam retainer and requires modification Lifter to bore at .0012-.0015 don't work in a block that don't have much if any water temp. Scorpion rockers= no issues as of yet, but barely inspected them So far as I plan to use crower next Bob = extreme lack of taking any heat at all and smoothralking you into thinking you are 100% wrong even when his custom heads come with solid roller springs for hr cam...but will destroy you behind the scenes to other members. So if just them few things save ONE OTHER person, I am happy with my posts. |
Griff lock it... no reason to continue.

:fear::faint2: Good entertainment don't lock it.

That being said, why were my 565 cams worse? .578 lift is not much at all...

Funny, that 10 dollar program i have, is the same cam software your hero bob madera is now using. Found it funny when i got an email from the guy who wrote the software about a program update, and marine kinetics was on the carbon copy.
Im just an internet gravel hauler though. That's kinda funny actually. When you plug in tims old cam specs, heads and so on is there any other changes you tried like carburetor, intake etc to even come close to justify how bob came up with them. |
