Yea, I hear that, first time I used them, I tried to find a way to add a "safety strap" but there was no good way with using the gantry, I wondered about bolts too but my buddy said 4 of them fully threaded and tight would be fine, similar to the 2 3/8 bolts one on each side into head, these plates made it so much easier, hoping I don't have to worry about doing this anytime soon again LOL

Grade 5-5/16 bolt good for 6400lb tension strength Grade 8- 5/16 8000lb.

I had someone lift the complete engines with straps wrapped under the primary pipes of the headers. I wasn't thrilled with that but was told he did it all the time.
