smartcraft alarm question
 

Having trouble with alarm on gauge going off. reads " Check panel " put computer on engine no codes or history. 2004 smartcraft gagues.
Any input would be appreciated.

what Mercruiser engine and engine serial number please - ecm 555 or PCM 555 makes a difference 2 totally different controllers

Are you sure its not your low depth alarm going off ???

Not at boat today will have that info tomorrow. was making an occasional beep but stopped now just flashes the alarm signal.

Got it. Also when was the beep coming in. Not a warmed up engine or fully warmed up engine and at what rpms. Are you sure its an engine warning horn. On the smartcraft gauage you can see the warning alarm symbol displayed ???

I would like to continue on this one - If correct on a smartcraft gauge SC 1000 you have the warning icon displayed with the fault reading of " Check Panel " exactly displayed in those words ??? Also you have a true warning horn on / off taking place from either a ECM 555 or a PCM 555 app - 2004 year model ???

Is this a DTS app or mechanical throttle & Shift ??

You said no faults and so I take it, no guardian mode either ? You have 100 % available power correct ?

Has anything has been added or added into the smartcraft set up ? additional sensor(s) or paddle wheel / temp and so on ???

If "Check Panel " is displayed and a real fault - this is a very rare one. Or least I have not seen it if I recall correctly .

Possible might have to go through and reset up the smartcraft / gauges like the very begining.

Are these newer smartcraft gauges installed since 2004 and or a very current install of new smartcraft gauges ?
