Dart block oil temp
I recently had a new dart block built The oil temp seems to be running high it's running at 190 in the old one never used to get above 140-ish is there something I could check before pulling the motor

Yeah the whole water system. What is the water pressure?

You running same sender and gauge? Same everything except for new build with dart block? You making more power = more heat. Personally I'd be stoked with 220 plus temps. 190 would be normal for many marine engines with coolers. In a nutshell id be more concerned about running 140 oil temps rather 190.

Same everything and it never used to get this high I did use a different builder this time I also have a bow tie block and it hardly gets above 140 that's why I'm worried

the block itself should have nothing to do with the oil temp.can you give us more info on the new build.
