I don't have any first hand knowledge but I believe the outlet tonthe sea pump is capped off, the drive body is tapped for a hose to the shower cap. I guess that the volume of water is significant.

Yes I did it myself, the water hose that would normally supply water to the engine is cut and plugged, you then drill and tap the side of the case... up toward the front is where you have the most room to drill and tap for the larger holes ( I Used 3/4 pipe )...I would have liked to have it toward the rear so that the water would flow past the the inside of the case and pick up heat as it would pass by but I only think you could get by with using 1/4 pipe, which isn't going to move that much water.... At the top, I have the Latham setup Kieth mentioned, I welded a fitting on the top, I also welded some 1/8" stainless around the bottom of the top plate to channel the water down around the sides of the drive,.... Depending on your steering set up, you could do the same with the IMCO shower cap, the hose and fittings are an # 12, got all of that stuff from summit

Those plates directing water down are a nice touch. Curious, looks like you plugged some of the DWP holes in the side. If so, why? Pressure? I know I ran a DWP lower on one side of my BT and a LWP on the other for a season, noticeable difference in water pressure at cruise.

standard issue XR's, 575's with iron eagle heads and HR cams, didn't have to disassemble, but had them off of the gimbals to drill and tap.
