So what is your opinion on titanium intake valves? Having a much lighter intake valve has many benifits, and OEM's are using them and not having any issues. I would think as long as the heads have the right seats in them it's a great option to really lighten up the intake side of the valvetrain.

Can be run on a standard ductile iron seat.

That's awesome! What series LS? LS7's? Who's valves did you use in those builds, and what other valve train mods? Whose exhaust and front accessories? Got any pics? I like the LS platform, not very common and cool to see. What was the name of your shop again?

It's not my shop. And whom I work or have worked for is really none of your business. Do you have some sort of problem with me?

These were 427 Katech Motors. They ran 1 24hr endurance race. The cams, dry sumps and injections were removed. Intakes, carbs wet sumps and cams from another big LS builder were added. And went in the boat. We actually have two boats running around here with these same motors in them. The two with 900hrs have had more abuse and owner neglect than any other boat motors I have ever seen. I honestly don't know or can comprehend how they have stayed together. One motor has been overheated probably half a dozen times for various reasons. Mainly stupidity and neglect. They are aluminum blocks with aluminum heads. How do they stay together? I don't know...
