Lobe separation

Changing out a cam this winter. 468 Chevy, big ovals with stock exhaust. It's going into the boat for sale next spring, it's why I'm looking for a stockish 330hp or 365hp cam.

I'm putting new springs on the heads.
Wondering what lsa will keep from reverting.
Mark 4 flat tappet.

Thanks
Bill

112-114 seems to be a common separation in the marine industry. Depends on duration numbers but for the most part you find this right here...

you better not be selling the 28.....

The 420 hp cam is a conservative but noticeable upgrade cam from the 365 mag. Crane 132561. Options are endless but I just know that one from experience years ago. 114 lsa.

Stock cam in the 400, 420, 425, and 525sc right here

most people worry about lsa when their concern should be degrees of overlap.

Nice when you don't have to worry about either.
