Default Bad set of rings?

So I got out my file fit rings to start fitting and some how both the top and bottom rings have .034 without even touching them to a filer. The bottom ring is even marked with the correct bore (4.530). Anyone ever come across this issue? They are a name brand and came with my pistons. According to their chart I should have around .020.

Are you putting them down in the cylinder bore ? And if so, how far and what kind of tool to square them up in the bore ?

Do they look like someone filed them already? And how much gap do your old rings have? And did you measure your bores with a bore gauge?

For file fit you usually order them .005 over. 4.535 in you case

Yes I used a summit ring centering tool to make sure they are square and down in the cylinder. I looked the part number up and they are file fit rings and I got these with the pistons I ordered. Yes rechecked the cylinders too just to make sure I was not losing my mind.

They are getting me a new set.
