8-10 hp every time so if it fits sure, if you have to do any mods to the hatch don't bother, might equal .5 mph
|
No issues with clearance, raised hatch...1 inch or more ?
|
4 hole 1/2" on top of an open 1/2"..

540 Vic Jr, 2in. vs none. I saw no difference with a 4 hole or combination. Regular 2 inch open.

Identical engines one with 4 hole one with super sucker 4 hole.
SS made +6hp/+12tq, that engine consistently pulls 50 rpm more than other. Does it make a difference in speed, prob not, but mid range cruise (where I spend most time) is probably more efficient based on tq increase. I'm going to replace standard spacer with SS in the spring to verify results. |

Am I reading that right that the red line is with the spacer making less power?

To answer OP's question though I believe in all reality every application/build will be different. All you can do is try it and and if you don't see any speed gains I wouldn't bother with it.
