Anyone seen gear lube leak out of water intake?

Boat is sitting inside heated shop. Today I noticed gear lube on the floor and it's leaking pretty good out of water inlet then running down gear case. You can actually see it moving. It was not that way yesterday and just started. This boat is jinxed. This is an Alpha drive. Any thoughts before I tear into this.

Probable bad seal between the upper and lower halves. Any chance the heat went out for a day or two?? IF it froze it could have split.

Must be leaking from the lower unit into the water pump and out the water intake. There are seals/gaskets there. Probably need to pressure test.

Yep. Had an alpha years ago that did the same thing.
