I was not aware that you could get isky tool room springs shipped and installed with the afr heads ..thats a good thing
Our buddy got afr 315 heads from Bob. Upgrade to inconel valves, and #8002 spring "upgrade", which are the cheaper PAC springs. They were for a 1000hp forced induction build. |

I don't see how it's a bad thing to upgrade if the 1940 Spring is advertised as a mild hot rod upgrade spring I wish I would've known that a couple years ago

i called joe b and he did not get any spring upgrade, even though i wanted him to get the isky tool room springs.he said his heads had the pioneer springs installed.the invoice copy you posted is to small for me to read but i am guessing it is joe,s.does it state what springs were installed on the heads?
Im sure tool room springs would have been alot more money. If i recall, the 8002 "blue stripe" springs, were pioneers. The 8002 "green stripe" were pac 1940. |
yes,if i remember correctly i paid 370. per set for mine.i will say that the 8002s were working just fine for him.
