No they do not. Mercury switched to a Scorpion produced rocker just like we did in the 2008-2009 time frame.
Simple way to check is pop off the oil fill cap and look. The Scorpions are a cool blue/silver color. The cranes were yellow/gold JT Regards, Mark |
Any date when the change to scorpion rockers?
All this stuff is same at 600 and 662sci?? thanks! i have an 2010 600SCi with 50 Hours and like to use springs and rockers one ear more before change! Is it possible? Michael |
And anyone have the exact partsnumber from the Scorpion Rockers that need to buy for an Merc 600SCi??
Thanks! Michael |
The 600 SCI has the smallest camshaft of the 525/600/700, so you should have no issues at all taking that engine to 200 or more hours before needing to freshen the heads.

Ok Thanks!
Maybe you can give more tipps! I think about new valve springs as engine has not run since 7 years.Stand in warm shop 7 years conserved. Better new springs or wait as they only 50 hours run. Thanks. Michael |
