I agree, 30 to 32 max. 32 is what I run on my with no issue. I believe the 350 vortec trucks only had something like 26 total timing.

Just bump your initial timing from 8 to 10 and that should give you the 32 total you want. I always check my total timing, but I have thunder bolt iv ignitions.

Ayuh,..... Agreed,... Set it in base timin' mode, 'n the T-Bolt V will take over after ya take it outa base mode,...

Some T-Bolt Vs came without the knock sensor, but it can be added,....

Thanks for all the help everyone. I will lock into base mode, set it a 10 degrees. That should get me the 32 total I need.
