Bravo Lower

At the AHBA Poker Run this weekend I did a bit of dredging with my prop and put some nice scratches in the drive. Any advice on how to effectively smooth them out? Also, can they be polished?

Thanks for the help.

Depends on how deep

How deep are the scractches? If they are just scratches you can just sand them out. If they are very deep, your gonna have to fill them in, and sand them out. Use an epoxy or fiberglass resin with miro-baloons.

Thanks for the advise. They are just surface scratches, nothing too large. Has anyone ever seen the lower unit polished, I though I saw a picture posted a while back?

Thanks.

RUNNING A FEVER,

I looked for the pic of the polished lowers too but couldnt find it. I believe they were on a fountain.

I have known three people with them and they all said it was really hard to keep them looking that way and all eventually just stopped polishing them.
