You can see the 02 bungs on top of the Lightning headers, there lasted 2 plus years ..( No reversion, good AFRs and low heat.)
My current application, I believe they die after a season due to heat.

Nice setup, guess the main issue is the sensor will not last long. Appreciate the input, will look around

Currently have EMI

I have EMI exhaust with bungs.. Don't have much time on mine yet but seems to work ok..

I went with the AEM "failsafe" gauge. does only read one bank tho'...
It reads A/F & boost / MAP

You make it record your A/F vs MAP when you know the engine is running good, then you can set it so it'll set off an alarm if it falls out of the parameters....
Has a ground output when in alarm mode.. could connected it to a warning light or even a rev limiter... One less thing to constantly watch..

It also datalogs...

I like it, thanks

Innovate makes one that fits in one small gauge hole that will read both banks. I run the single bank Innovate MTX-L model full time. Have been doing so for 7 years. The feed back is invaluable.

the 02's that are used are honda/acura and heat should not effect them

You can always run one temporarily and tune on cooler day and call it good also. Check it from time to time to confirm your content. To many gauges can get you in trouble also. Meaning safety reasons.

I would add that they would be about as useful and used as offen as volt meter gauges. With carbs, once the jetting is set, you are good to go.

There was a case here where someone popped a vacuum port cap off and melted an engine. It can be helpful for catching trouble.

Not if your Jim Valako when he ran carbs. He'd change jets from day to day depending on weather. I use to laugh at him but if he can find another 2-5 hp on any given day he will. Lol. He'd go by plug readings though.

So every time the weather changes you got back to the dyno? 5 HP wouldn't show on the GPS.
