Just another quick reference. I've seen guys read plugs differently that irritates me. It's pretty basic but often overlooked.

So how do you do this ? Run the boat at wot at different rpms long enough to build color , kill the engines ( that sounds safe at 90 mph ) Then bobble around while trying to pull plugs while avoiding betting burned by exhaust etc trying not to lose your lunch and read them x 16? Then make jetting corrections and start all over?

I think I`d rather poke myself in the eye repeatedly with a sharp stick

Think I'd rather buy a wideband. I think.....

I'd rather jet it rich until there's soot on the transom and pull it back two sizes than finish that video. Lol

Thats about it. Sounds like you've been there. Lol.. Once I establish leanest cylinder which varies from one build to the other but seems to be #8 for me most generally on NA anyway so I just get one burn. Got by for many years without wideband but do have for current builds but will still periodically ck just because. I can't rely 100% on electronics cause they tend to go haywire on me.

I read about a guy who drove off a cliff with his family in his vehicle cause his gps said to go straight at tee in road so the retard did. His wife died unfortunately.

Another gps told a women to drive her vehicle onto the boat ramp and into the water at Charlevoix so she did. Although survived without issues she felt like an absolute idiot.

So with that said if your smelling aluminum but your AFR's show 11.5 don't keep running.
