I have an older CMI e-top header that has an internal leak at one of the collector welds. The leak can be seen with a mirror however I can't get a tig torch in and still see to weld. CMI isn't interested in repairing it so I'm looking for ideas on how to get in there to repair it or someone that has experience repairing this area that would want to do the repair. Rob

Why did CMI not want to do the repair? If it was do to age, they were likely doing you a favor.

Just a thought, cut the outside open to create a window to repair the inside, then weld everything back together.

Just went thru this on our cmi e-tops. Ours was repaired but I couldn't sleep at night putting them back on. We sold ours and are going SSM.
