14092360's are mid 80's open chamber Truck Peanut Port heads

These would have been used on the low hp 454's. 310-330hp 454 / 7.4L marine engines.

Just so you know, there where a few years in late 80's that Merc had a Magnum 7.4L engine that was the same low hp (330) that was in frt of an Alpha drive, since the TRS drive was just dropped and the Bravo drive had not yet come out. Furthermore, some had rectangular port intakes but oval port heads...for added confusion..lol. The use of the 'Magnum' name for these engines in this time period throws many people off.

what casting numbers on heads you have now? what is the problem with using them? I have a MK 4 block and a couple of sets of gen 6 rect heads. I can play around and see if the cooling passages line up ok, or badly. the reason the 360 head comes up so much is that it is just about all that GM built and sold for trucks from mid 70's to 90 or 91. people have 781 and 049 ovals they have been storing for 40 years but the rectangle head was some-not all-corvette and a very few other special Hi-perf big blocks until it became the 454 hi perf mercruiser engine. and most were raw water cooled and died a rusty death...so the MK 4 rectangle head is not easy to find.

There are a few head gaskets that will leak at one water passage. There is lots of info on the web about this combination. Also the price of shipping a set of heads to europe is an additional issue. Your 088 heads, unless bad, will work on your block.
