[QUOTE=cigrocket;4549046]Off by 1/2" in diameter, they would have been perfect for you. As for the clamp... never had a problem with them on my 1993 Cigarette Top Gun, Boat ran close to 100 and I was able to take them off when noise wasn't a concern. Best of both worlds. Plus they sounded and looked
Damn man.....so going brand new you think this is a better application than the gibsons and shotguns?

I'm all nervous to even put anything on these tail pipes because I do not know what is in it for a cam overlap and duration .......the only info I have on the motors internals is this:
The motor was originally a 502 mercruiser, its .30 over has stock gm forged crank with h beam Manley rods, forged pistons,gm performance heads fully ported with inconel valves,a custom hydraulic roller cam believe was like .632 lift.
10 qt Gil oil pan.
Wiend 256 blower with two worked 750 cfm holleys .
Motor was only at 4.5 lbs of boost. Has lighting exhaust headers with custom dump tubes that come out the end of the tailpipe....motor was built by Jim Benny.
Does anyone think water reversion could be an issue with this setup? If I could just get a hold of the engine builder I'd be all set
