To everyone with a hydraulic helm... how far is your steering wheel from the dash?
I am trying to set up my seats and throttle position, but plan on getting hydro staring in the future. So I was wondering where the mounting face of your wheel ends up with hydraulic steering. Any help is appreciated Thanks.

sounds like that is what he is doing. to OP: google the helms you are considering. there will have to be downloadable instr manuals on their web sites. but as long as helm can be mounted behind dash, I doubt wheel is gonna move in or out that much from orig location. I am confident the manufacturers know how to build a steering helm that wont stick the wheel out a foot from where orig was...but just in case, leave seating-throttles alone til you get helm and at least rough it in. Edit: oh, you aren't currently in market for hyd steering. And that's what ben was saying anyway.

You can set it up in the same location as stock steering or move it out up to 6". Latham makes the yoke to fit most helms in almost what ever length you need. Look at there website.

I believe most other steering companies make these also.
