Adding low pressure fuel pumps to 825EFI

Looking to add electric low volume fuel pumps. Currently running A1000 aeromotives but just running those off the tanks. Having issues priming so I think a low pressure pump may be the trick. They are 825-850hp, and there really isn't an option of running a mechanical low pressure pump because of the triple stage water pump on the motor.
What do you suggest?

Are your carbs emptying out or is the pump not priming ? I ask because sometimes my carb is empty and I have to run my A1000 on a bump switch till the bowls fill , going to put a check ball in line to keep fuel in the carb hopefully

AJ - do you have a pic showing the rigging of your fuel system ?

Surprised it has a problem, is it mounted fairly low and sre you running a return style regulator? I ran a aeromotive a1000, then a essex then a aeromotive eliminator on my baja 272 w 1000+ hp, i could pump tank dry in fall with it then had no problems priming even pulling thru water seperator. It did have a return regulator going back to suction side of pump buffered by a fuel filter.
