merc used crane hyd roller lifters in hp500 in 1995.

If it has a .700 wheel that would be a crane lifter.

Then again, who drops a crank in and get's their finger stuck between a crank journal and the block journal with no reachable phone or tool....and a huge crack in the floor keeping you from rolling the engine to where there is a phone and tools.

I put a crank in a toyota 18r engine back in 77 or 78. Crank snout sticking out the flywheel side....
