Are kiekhaefer K-Plane pumps different than regular Merc Drive Trim pumps?

second question I have a set kiekhaefer pumps from a 1987 Kaama drive boat they look just like the Merc but instead of the plastic tanks with yellow lids tehy have a small black round tank under them. Are the the same too?

The pumps are very much the same except the ones used for the TRS drives did not have the check valve set up in them.

These were used on KAAMA surface drive.

Do they have different pressures?

Swap the color coded check valves inside the pump body
