Reputable mechanic/surveyor in New Jersey area

Hi,

I'm located in Michigan and am very interested in a boat located in New Jersey. I'd like to have the boat checked out before I make the trip over to look at its (and hopefully purchase it). Does anyone know a reputable mechanic or surveyor that I could hire to go look at it for me? Any input would be appreciated.

Hi. There are 2 different jerseys. North by new York city, or south by philadelphia?
