You have a fuel problem. Work on what everyone's telling you. Your ignition would happen after running. Not cold start. Listen to the above post. It's a easy test.

I had dominators on 572's prior to my current 540 with dominator. I have always cranked them for 3-4 seconds. Then I push down on each accelerator pump to feel if it has tension/fuel. If it does, a squirt on each one has always caused the next turn of the key to fire them up and go straight to idling. If no fuel, crank them again without pumping on the throttle. Go back to the carb and try again until you see it has fuel.

I like this for a couple reasons. Mostly because I don't like sitting there cranking the engine over, pumping on the throttle with no idea if it is doing anything. I also like it because you don't get too much fuel and fire up with a rough start. I have always had positive comments on how an engine with a dominator starts with such good manors.

3-4 full pumps then i always return my throttles to about a 1500-2000rpm idle position. once fires check water pressure/ flow, oil pressure and i let it warm for 5-10mins on high idle.

usually run plugs at least a full season with 0 fouling.
