You figure anything out yet? If it's not carb issues I would quickly move to swapping distributors. Is the propshaft moving freely? Can you ck fuel pressure? Ck plug wires also. Seems like we've had a year of wires getting swapped around also. Lol...

Changed fuel filter fuel in it looked perfect pulled line off pump and blew back in tank all clear. I do notice if if I let fuel pumps run with key on and don't start engines good running side is 7lbs and bad is 5 lbs?

Can you switch fuel feeds between pump and carbs? Few feet of 3/8th fuel line should do it.

You need to check the psi with it under load and more importantly when the rpm issue is happening.

Could be a soft fuel line. Do these distributers have advance weights? If so make sure they are not corroded and have free range of motion.

Ran the boat approximately 90 miles on Saturday. Cruises at 45 mph perfectly at 3400 rpm but one motor still would not rev. It's not losing fuel pressure at wot. Unfortunately I did not get a chance to switch carbs, fuel pumps or pickups. Timing is at 36 degrees locked which I verified with light. I'm going to pull Carb and check it out
