looking to buy some enginequest bbc heads and Odessa has what appears to be good pricing ..any input on Odessa ..thank you

how much do they want?

they are around 425-450 apiece bare ..Don't remember exactly.but I would like to be able to buy all the stuff from one place if possible even though they will be disassembled and checked...Do you have a line on where to buy

i bought some on ebay,aa midwest in vegas.they are the ones who i believe import them in from australia,i paid around 440.each with free shipping.

i had the machine shop check guide clearance with valves i supplied and they were spot on.i will add that i was very pleased at how they performed and will use them again on the lower dollar builds.

I was thinking that if I bought it all from one shop I might just pay one markup instead of each individual part marked up

just looked at ebay 434 apiece..now if only they would toss in a few Inconel valves at a good price.I was thinking maybe Odessa had the purchasing power to make a decent deal..Or are they hype

i bought my valves,springs retainers and keepers from summit.what cam are you planning on running?

i have no opinion on odessa as i have never bought anything from them.

Buy the exhaust valves yourself. Not in an assembled head from a volume builder. There are places to worry about cost. 400 for exhaust valves. Spend 100 to 250, you could be spending 5k for new block and heads. Plus a tow, plus half a summer in the crapper.
