Get a price on the steel T&D might be close to what the jesels are they have bigger bearings. Also might want the needle bearing tips take a little load off the valve guides but they don't tolerate water in the oil.

We are ready have all the valve train parts. This combo has been run a spin tron that is the reason we are using the set up we are. As for the longevity of the components I don't see it being any problem. Like I have said before about 90% of the time the engines will below 5k rpm and below witch is well over 100 mph with the occasion occasion blast up around 7k. Around were we do a lot about boating the water is changing all the time because for other boaters and ships running back and forth in the ship channels so it's not like youu can hammer down for a 20mile run.

We do appreciate all the recommendations and insight from other boaters and engine builders. We will have them on the pumps some time next month and that will be a good base line to see what we really have Studs or dudes lol

For whoever is looking to buy rockers get the spring oiler option. I think it was $1.40 a rocker. Sprays oil on the springs to keep them cooler.
