straight tube to replace cool fuel

I am converting my 1996 502 ser # of 602209 from mpi to carb. I do not want to rob the brass 13" cool fuel tube so I an looking for a straight piece of alum or brass tubing 13"long by 1 1/4 OD. Merc cust serv could not help and I have searched various IPC's no luck. Anybody have a part # or know a shop that can make it w/ the bulb around each end?

I have a pair but not that long........10.5 inch Stainless

Edit: Id just replace the hose with a new full length one and not scab it together

Item 1 in link should work, or go to a scrap yard and pick up a piece of thin wall pipe

Genuine Mercury & Mercruiser parts. Standard Cooling System

Was not the part? Appears to be the same part number, just is used to bypass the PS cooler instead of the cool fuel.

Yea same part # but under "notes" says "cut to 10.5 inches". The cool fuel tube is 13 " I ordered it, just have to wait and see what I get.

I would buy an auto repair hose kit and a new 1 foot marine water hose for the splice plus 4 SS hose clamps --- and of course cut the hose to fit exactly. I have done that in the past. If I recall total cost was 18 bucks

Well that is a lot cheaper than the $80 I spent on the merc oem tube but it will be right and it has a drain cock.
