We also ran the Capacitor on the NASCAR stuff , but it was to prevent the back EMF from the box from damaging Alternators .
The Back EMF would randomly shut the voltage regulator down , the battery would run dead during a race . It would reset completely if you cycled the battery cut off switch and charge like hell. Took a while to figure that out! |

I was watching one of those rat rod reality shows and 1/2 hour in the engine dies. Sure enough the MSD box crapped out.
