I use Eaton Easy Couple hose and fittings on everything I own. Have a motor that breaks a rocker and chews up a cam....all you pre made hoses go in the trash. Easy Couple you cut the rubber off and put new on saving you hundreds. I know that is an extreme case but....

The key is to make sure you use the hose and fittings from same manufacture, miss matching can cause issues, also, they are twist lock, ran them as oil lines but did have a summit brand slide off some and leak, changed to another brand and was fine for 5 years

I have had great luck with aeroquib push on fittings, even did some testing at work and ran them north of 500psi and the were holding, that's with 250 degree oil running thru them. If you want the best of the best this is where I get all my fittings from. Usally on par for price with summit and jegs. BMRS Home

I used push lock on all my oil and fuel lines. I agree with others to use the same brand hose and fittings and this tool makes life really easy on the bigger stuff.
