not sure on that but I have had worse ones than that welded and hard chromed. they made the whole thing back to standard everywhere so it can be done. the last one cost me about $300 but that was on a $3000 crank so it was a deal.

Sent this crank into Marine Crankshaft in CA with major damage on number 2 and 3 rod journals. Crank was also cracked. I just got off the phone with them and they fixed both rod journals, re-nitrated, straightened and polished for $600. This was out of my front engine dragster that hit 9500 rpm.
