Easy 100HP Gain on 6.2 MPI...
 

Hey Guys? What's the easiest way to get another 100 hp out of a 6.2 MPI 320 hp?
GM is get'n 420 hp in their Silverado with the 6.2 & I'm sure its not on the edge...
Do any of these programers that are available for the 6.2 MPI ready work & are they safe?

Cam, heads and a blower.....

will not get there with stock exhaust set up and that is correct the 6.2 Merc offering is not an LS version like whats in the GM truck / SUV side. / Sport car side. Its just another out dated engine making way less than 1 hp per cubes like many of their black side marine engines.

So many other Marine manus have moved on from that out dated platform. You have Indmar and pcm making over 550 hp with a small blocks and Ilmor as well. Volvo 430 hp with their small block set up.

Yes sir, who ever it was at merc that vetoed moving into the LS series needs to be ***** slaped forcefully about the head and shoulders, its cost them a lot of market share.

So... it will take a 383 build then you're saying...
Then 450 hp would be easy...
