HP 500 water pump #
 

I need a water pump today for my boat. Does anyone know the NApa or Orielly part # for a stock GM water pump that fits. I'm thinking I got one once for a 67-68 396 that was a perfect match .... I hate to go down and make them pull a dozen out for me. They can get me a sierra but it will take a few days and it's $200 !!

you have watch out for the internals of the water circ pumps they will not be the same. Sierra are rough castings no question. The front seal is not stainless steel so the life of that is not there.

GM the ones that Merc and many other bought started to have issues with the impeller cracking.

I got tired of the low quality marine circ pumps so I went out and had them made here in the USA.

I have them 185.00 shipped for big block -- 454 -- 502 - 427 And the gaskets are included with that price. Last pic is the GM marine used by many and the failure - Service bulletins after the fact even came out about the issue
