Beat Thread Sealant

While I have the motors out I painted my transmission coolers what is the best thread sealant for the transmission lines?

Ayuh,..... If the fittin's are inverted flare fittin's, No sealant necessary,.....

If they're pipe threads, any pipe sealant, or form-a-gasket #2 works just fine,.....

yep, never had a leak. Permatex #2.
