as much as I did. It like the price, I purchased the kit from my favorite MerCruiser dealer. The first pump lasted from 2003 to 2018 and I bet if it didn't sit for 2 years it would still be working fine. I'm glad it's fixed and I'm happy I did it myself as opposed to paying someone to do it. Nothing like getting sweaty and intimate with a big block chevy on a hot summer day.
