Bravo XR Shifting
Long story short...starboard motor has been finicky going into reverse. Would only go in if we bumped rpms. Granted this only happened a few times. Forward seems to work ok. Performed oil changes yesterday on drive and motors. While we were on hose decided to play with shifter. Put it into reverse 6 or 7 times...each time it worked perfectly. Why does it work out of the water but not in the water? Kind of odd? Any insight to what we should check. Was gonna play with cable adjustment. Thanks |

Agree^^^
Check your adjustment, and note the 3 inch dimension. No need for the other tool, you can feel the shift F/N/R and find the center for the barrel nut https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...98c69dbde8.jpg |
