Trim limit adjustment

Bravo 1. Am I’m missing something? Drive down and marks aligned then position sending unit on full clockwise. Now do I need someone holding drive button up then tun counterclockwise to desired length? Then lock it down And is it 20 3/4 or 21 3/4

thank you!

Bravo = 21 - 3/4 ram center pin to pin
Alpha gen 1 the same

Alpha gen 2 = 20 - 3/4

All trim adjustments and limit adjustments are in the Bravo service manuals.

So I’m turned completely clockwise and I’m at 24 pin to pin. I can’t turn counterclockwise or it goes higher. I’m pretty sure I aligned marks before placing?

Lower the drive, align the marks then raise it till it stops. If its to high, lower the drive some, rotate the switch a little and raise the drive again. If it got worst, lower the drive and rotate the switch the other way, then raise again. Repeat until it meets the spec or is a tad less, just not over
