I’m not an expert, but I don’t think you will be able to use the zero effort control. The engine you purchased is a fly by wire motor, it doesn’t use mechanical cables. The throttle and shifting signals are sent electrically to the motor. Pretty sure you have no choice other than purchasing a DTS control from someone like Livorsi and you’ll be all set. Good luck!

engine serial is the best start to this project.

The DTS actuator and harnesses can be purchased thru Merc. But again an serial number is the start for the correct info and correct parts for your engine set up. I can not stress hard enough how important engine serial numbers are especially more important for marine apps 2007 to current. Many systems changed thru out those years.

As soon as I saw the picture of the control you have, I knew you had a DTS control, which will work. Mercury used to make an older style Zero Effort control that was for mechanical cable operation. What you have will true.y be “zero effort”! I sure now that you posted your serial number, BUP will respond for the harness.

I can not remember the part number off the top of head. I will look it up when I get back to the office later today. Yesterday was really bad storms here and mild flooding. On my phone I can not look up some of this stuff.
