Teague tech videos

Is anyone else thoroughly enjoying Bob's videos? I love it when he goes in depth on the valve train components. I have purchased a lot from him over the years. I find it very interesting how the components and manufacturers change/evolve as time goes on.

Recently purchased a boat with his engines and find it very interesting to know what parts he uses and why. Very smart guy and like the idea of him building a production engine where he stocks the parts used in his engines and it's not a one off custom that needs custom parts made when needed.

Always very informative no matter the component being discussed . Have always looked forward to Teague on Tech even back in the Hot Boat Magazine days . Have done business with Teague Marine and will continue to do so . Straight shooter no bullchit .

I've been watching them after the "live" Facebook shows. Fortunately they're posted up on Youtube. I keep asking for some serious X-dimension and hull bottom tech, but haven't seen anything. Maybe he doesn't want to give away too many secrets!

I like them too. Haven’t watched them all yet but I go to his Facebook page and watch them.

That guy can talk nonstop for hours with nothing but solid information. I’m not sure what value blondie is adding but I only complain when she stands in the way of an engine. :p

i noticed a few MT sightings in there. :)

You can bet your ass if someone is talking tech Joe is in on it! Something I am taking away from his last episode is choosing the proper crankshaft that doesn't create excessive windage. Among other things I like all the talk of steel rockers and proper materials in the entirety of the valve train.

Pretty cool of Bob to make these videos. I only caught part of one of the live videos, I missed the part where he discussed valve seat materials.

My wife make fun of me. Was laying in bed watching that one last week...a few days prior, my phone alarm went off and i rushed to make a coffee and go sit at the bar. Shes like "what are you doing" ...i signed up for a webinar from the HP academy on tuning. Sat thru an hour watching chassis dyno pulls tuning air fuel ratios and timing tuning .

pretty cool how the guy loaded the engine at steady state wot, midrange rpm, and adjusted the spark live, watching the torque level rise to a certain point, then start dropping off. He was tuning each cell in the timing map one at a time. Something youre not gonna get doing a sweep pull on a dyno. What i took away from that hour long webinar, was the air fuel ratio, whether a bit richer or leaner than max power afr, was very minimal on power output. Timing on the other hand, was pretty significant.

Bob's videos are definitely informative. His video on Prop Aerators was very informative as well as videos on props!
