there are quad rotor 2.3 thru 4.0 setups out there too.

twin 2.9 gen 3's will do 1300+hp on 572's.;)

Another alternative that I have been thinking about is using a 100% staged system for a turbocharged application.

Small primary injectors for "cruising" on 87 oct...........then larger injectors upstream for boost that meter a higher octane fuel. (E85, methanol, Avgas, etc)......an "octane on demand" set up.

I believe the Holley Dominator ECU is capable of this....most of my research has centered around Megasquirt products and I know MS3 can support staged injection.

Friend of mine did this in his car. He estimates that it makes 2200 hp. It made over 1700hp on a chasis dyno on E85 two years ago before the changes with less boost. Car runs something like 7.46 @ 198mph... He is running methanol under boost and 93 octane while cruising and it automatically stitches over from gas to the meth system. Car won Big Block Super Street Power Adder at Drag Week this year. He used to run E85 with a methanol injection system to cool the charge. He's using two injectors per cylinder for the meth system and a single injector per cylinder for gas. Haltech ECU.

Most people wont run a 4.6 bore with heavy boost don't think the head gaskets stay in place too good. Just be carful.
