Got a 30 single boat s bravo and cm I ex has stock flat tappet hy d cam what can is best for more power and idle motor has dart intake would the Mercruiser manifold be better over that !!! For midrange??? How about a 550 lift roller marine cam boat weighs 5500 and has a pad is as the 525 and 500 go motors don't have big lift cams thanks

Crane 168731 or 168741

Use the 731 if you want to keep below 5200rpms and 741 if you want to spin it faster.

Tripps, if you give some more complete details of the boat's setup as it is now and what you are trying to accomplish going forward these guys will get you moving very close to what you hoping to accomplish. I know you have a lot of OB experience but this BBC stuff isn't rocket science, you just need to use the right components to save yourself a lot of headaches and disappointments. Good luck and we like nothing better than to spend someone else's money.
