cnc motorsports short block

Has anyone used cnc motorsports for marine work? They have a 9.2:1 532 (4" stroke 4.600" bore) for around $5k.

No but have purchased a lot from them and always on the ball and never an issue with parts or service. Hope that helps a little.

As stated above ^^^ Im a long time buyer from them never an issue, racer guys selling hot rod parts, Id get the details on clearances ect. how it was put together, is this a Big M block ?

I like the 4.6 bore for unshrouding the valves but it doesn't leave much for clean up.

Not a Big M block but they do offer that as an additional cost. I like their choice of parts, 6.535" rod on a 4" stroke should work for years in my setup.

The only thing I requested different was the piston and rod combo in 6.535" rod length, only added $100 to the price. I can't buy all the parts for what they will sell the whole package assembled for.

6.535" rod length is what JE makes a shelf piston for. I'm confused with the Big M option as well. The listing on their site says "add $450 for Big M". The spec sheet however lists a Big M, I will see if Chris can clarify on that.
