Vibration
Posted before but had no replies. My port side engine has a vibration from around 1800-2400 rpm. Doesnt matter if it's in Neutral or in gear. Currently doing exhaust and steering upgrades so I will pull the drive if necessary. 350 mags and bravo 1's in a 02 Formula 292 fastech. What should I look for??? Any advice is welcome, thank you!!!

^ agreed, below is the order I would check based on your description
Ujoints, coupling, engine alignment, engine misfire/dead cylinder (normally worst at idle) |

Upon further inspection, I found the gimbal rings are shot. Boat is going to a marina to be repaired. I simply dont have the time or knowledge to take on this project myself. Thanks everyone for the replies.

Gimble ring won't make it vibrate. Get everything in writing that is going to fix problem. |
Gimble bearing? Worse when the drive is trimmed up?
I agree the gimble RING wont make it vibrate. |
Is the vibration accompanied by a knocking sound? If so, could be a head gasket.
