Stallings extension boxes- can it go straight shaft?
Lot of extra stuff in these things. Can I just get the longer imco shaft and get rid of the extra bearing and u joints? Anyone done it? Any reason it wouldn’t work?

Think it would work if I went up 2”? Hard to see any type of angle through the access holes.

You can see the middle set of mounting holes with the access covers removed pretty easily, if the bolts are in the bottom hole, they’re up 2”, middle hole 1” up, top hole neutral 0 up

I’m taking them off of one boat and plan on installing them on another boat in the 2” hole.

If you want to run a straight shaft and be up in the bottom hole( 2” up) you’ll need to raise the engines 2”’s
