i swapped it with the other engine...no dice. Same issue.

what about ground all tight, I know the engine and I think the efi harness have large ground wires on them

can check but these engine have two grounds for redundancy...

1. To primary ground
2. Both engines tethered together

there are multiple grounds on the harness

Thought you meant main engine grounds...I have a manual, I’ll check out harness grounds.

It was pressure regulator...thanks everyone!!!

who lead the horse to the water on the phone calls here I got to get some credit here a tad yes or no ? - always check fuel pressure ESPECIALLY on new rebuilds and install new filters once per year whether one uses their boat or not.

a decent fuel pressure tester is maybe 30 to 50 bucks - cheap tool to have for whomever works on their own apps

at spring commission always check fuel pressure after lay up. Fuel pumps and regulators can go bad just sitting idle for months and is not uncommon for that to happen

past preach and should be done regardless and for rebuilds to prevent issues right out of the gate. Posted this almost a year ago. if you work on boats buy one before you get after it .

sounds like fueling at idle or it has a touch of reversion.really need a scan tool and some way to measure fuel pressure, you don't have a crank sensor, you do have a pickup coil inside the distr.

:D:D

glad its fixed and not reversion.
