mounting some tabs on a warlock 25sxt cat
 

wondering if anyone has ever mounted some tabs on the outer sponsons where the steps in the hull are, and would they hurt or help anything? almost like a tunnel hull jetboat or v drive would use. i need to install a seperate water pick up for my intercooler, but i dont want to have to cut acess holes in the floor to reach the bottom corners of the sponsons.. id rather mount the pickup in the cav plate/ ride plate/ tab/ whatever you call it like a v drive would. dose this sound workable? i could mount rams to the plates and make them adjustable, just not sure if the stepped area is the place to do it or not....
