I am a bit confused about the diffrent Pumps from Aeromotiv, that make the pumps for the Racing engines!
They offer a red A1000 and a black M1000 pump with a bit diffrent price but near same specs!! In my engine is a Black one but i can get a red for low price and as spare.
Can i use the red one? outside it looks same and all lines and cables will fit!°
Also see now a black A1000 Brushless that maybe best of the 3 ones!!
What would you take or will all work??

As i can get Red for very low price,is it possible to use for short time when sometimes my orginal would be defect???
Or to much danger?? Michael

Marine Alternators, electric fuel pumps and the like can not spark or create an explosive ignition. also in Fuel related components ( incll. Mechanical Fuel pump) - the pump does not drain out if internal rupture.
You will not have a breath of insurance if you run a red

Correct , Red Is Not USCG certified and Black is , same pump . There Brushless pumps are very good , use alot less power and are way quieter.
Also Aeromotive will rebuild their pumps for around 350ish. Most when I get them back are new.
