06 Eliminator Engine dies when switching tanks

OK this is just weird, The left tank runs fine, beep when the key comes on. Hit the switch to go to the right tank and the motor dies instantly. also if you turn the key back on there is no beep until you switch to the left tank, What the heck is happening??? 496HO Mag all stock??
