Need some advice

Hi everyone. I’m new here so if I posted this in the wrong section, I’m sorry. I recently bought a Baja 340 islander sportfish. It has twin 2001 mercury 225 optimax’s with smart craft gauges. They have around 650 hours on them. It has 21 mirage props that are pretty worn out. The edges are sharp and serrated. I’d imagine this is from running it in sand.. I have only had the boat out a couple of times and I love how it rides but I feel like it should me a lot faster that it is after some research I’ve done on other boats with the same engines. Both engines start right up and idle good. It gets on plane faster than about any boat I’ve been on. I cruise at 4000 at 35 mph and wot is 45 at 5000. I feel like wot should be up around 5600-5700 and my top speed should be closer to 60 with a cruising speed around 40. I’m going to start by getting new props because it needs them anyways but it seems odd to me that it won’t spin over 5k. I’m looking for any suggestions before I bite the bullet and take it to a mercury dealer. Thanks in advance

Could be a dumb question but are you trimming up once on plane?

yes. Those numbers are with the tabs up and the motors trimmed. Flat conditions to 1’ chop. I’m still figuring this boat out and it is my first bigger boat so I could be missing something.
